Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College Partners with Mission Smile for Free Cleft Surgery Camp

Pune, Nov 28: Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Pimpri, Pune, in collaboration with Mission Smile, a government-registered medical charitable trust, is organizing a free cleft lip and cleft palate surgical camp from 5th to 7th December 2025. The initiative aims to provide life-changing reconstructive surgeries and comprehensive care to children and adults affected by cleft lip and palate conditions.

All services  including surgery, medicines, hospital stay, and two daily meals  will be provided completely free of cost. Both new patients and those previously operated on for cleft deformities will be examined and advised by a specialized medical team. Patient screening will begin at the Plastic Surgery Department, No. 5A, at Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Pimpri, Pune, starting 5th December at 8:00 AM.
