Mumbai, July 27: Vested Finance, a global investing platform enabling Indian investors living in India and globally to access international investment opportunities, has received authorisation for its GIFT City entity, Vested Payments IFSC Private Limited, as a Payment Service Provider from the International Financial Services Centres Authority .
The PSP authorisation allows Vested to issue regulated payment accounts, facilitate cross–border money transfers, and issue e-money in accordance with the IFSCA Regulations, 2024. Licensed PSPs operate under strict requirements covering capital adequacy, safeguarding of client funds, governance, cybersecurity, AML/KYC compliance and regulatory oversight.
For investors, this means money transfers become a regulated part of the investing journey, with clear rules governing how investor funds are custodied and transferred.
Earlier this year, Vested became one of the first companies to receive a Global Access Provider licence from IFSCA. While the GAP framework governs how Indian investors access overseas markets, the new PSP authorisation governs how their money moves across borders. Together, these authorisations place both investing and payments within a single India-regulated framework.
“Global investing is not just about buying international assets – it is equally about moving money safely, efficiently and transparently across borders. With our GAP licence approval in April and now the PSP authorisation, we can now provide an India-regulated infrastructure for both the key aspects of Global investing,” said Viram Shah, Founder and CEO, Vested Finance. “For investors, this means greater confidence, better control and a smoother investing experience. For Vested, it creates the foundation to launch the next generation of cross–border financial products which we are excited to bring to investors over the coming quarters.”
The PSP authorisation continues a deliberate direction for Vested: building its global investing infrastructure under the IFSCA regulatory framework. The company already operates with FINRA-regulated infrastructure in the United States and now holds two separate IFSCA authorisations at GIFT City.
With both authorisations in place, Vested is the only global investing platform for Indian investors regulated across both the US and India. The market access under the GAP framework and payments under the PSP framework in India and alongside that, its regulated Broker Dealer and RIA setup in the United States as well.
As Indian investors increasingly diversify internationally, expectations around regulation, transparency, and investor protection are also rising. Vested believes global investing infrastructure should evolve alongside this demand, with access, custody, and payments operating within clear supervisory frameworks.
Vested will announce further products built on this regulatory foundation in the coming quarters.
