Ariel University was proud to welcome the second delegation of the Insight Israel: Welcoming Global Academic Leaders program, a joint initiative of Ariel University and the Ministry for Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism.

The delegation visited Israel from 25–29 January, bringing together 22 participants from 11 countries: the United States, Canada, Spain, Germany, Austria, Poland, Lithuania, Ukraine, India, Georgia, and Armenia. The delegation included academic leaders, world-renowned scholars, and representatives of governmental institutions.
Throughout the visit, participants gained in-depth exposure to Israeli academia, the challenges it faces on the international stage, and engaged with a wide range of research and student communities across the country, creating a high-impact platform for relationship-building, institutional alignment, and sustained collaboration.
Professor Albert Pinhasov, Rector of Ariel University: “We were proud to welcome this distinguished delegation and to showcase the vitality of Israeli higher education. Insight Israel is about building trust, deepening collaboration, and ensuring universities remain places where people can learn, teach, and research without fear. By connecting academic leaders directly with our researchers, students, and partners, we’re converting dialogue into durable international partnerships – grounded in academic freedom, evidence-based inquiry, and a clear, united stance against antisemitism on university campuses worldwide. We look forward to translating these relationships into long-term academic collaboration.”
“The Ariel University family extends its sincere gratitude to the Ministry for Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism for the opportunity to lead such a meaningful initiative, one that is critical in strengthening international academic dialogue and addressing antisemitism on university campuses worldwide,” the University said.
Ariel University looks forward to welcoming future delegations and continuing to scale this strategic framework for global academic engagement.
