Mumbai, July 22: Bansal Wire Industries Limited, the country’s largest stainless steel wire manufacturing company and the second-largest steel wire manufacturing company, announced its financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026.
Commenting on the performance,Mr.Pranav Bansal, MD & CEO, Bansal Wire Industries Limitedsaid,
“We are pleased with the strategic progress achieved during the quarter despite a challenging operating environment. Key growth initiatives advanced well, reinforcing our confidence in the Company’s medium to long term growth trajectory.
During the quarter, geopolitical tensions in West Asia temporarily impacted demand and disrupted industrial gas supplies, affecting production and volumes. The profitability during the first half of the quarter was impacted by higher input costs and operational disruptions. However, business conditions improved meaningfully during the latter half of the quarter. Through swift operational measures and the use of alternative energy sources, we stabilised operations and delivered 1,11,962MT during this period, reflecting a strong recovery in execution.
Our Steel Tyre Cord secured its first trial order from a leading Indian tyre manufacturer, marking an important step towards commercialisation in a market that is currently import dependent., while the IHT Wire business continued to progress with customer approvals underway. Also, we broadened our B2C footprint by introducing new products in the farming, fencing, and poultry segments, creating a new growth platform for the Company.
While market conditions remained challenging during the quarter, our fundamentals remain strong. As conditions normalise, we remain on track to deliver our growth targets of volumes and EBITDA for the remaining year and continue to create sustainable long-term value for our stakeholders.”
