MMTC-PAMP Appoints Abhishek Kumar As Head of Consumer Business

Mumbai, April 16: MMTC‑PAMP, India’s only LBMA‑accredited gold and silver refiner, has announced the appointment of Abhishek Kumar as Head of Consumer Business, effective immediately. This strategic leadership move strengthens the company’s focus on accelerating growth in the Minted Coin & Bars and recycling segment across channels, deepening consumer engagement, and building a performance‑driven organization.

With nearly two decades of experience in driving growth, building high‑performing teams, and managing large‑scale operations across premium consumer categories, Abhishek will lead MMTC‑PAMP’s entire consumer portfolio, including General Trade, Institutional Business, Recycling Business, E‑commerce, and Digital Gold. In this role, he will report directly to Mr. Samit Guha, Managing Director & CEO, MMTC‑PAMP.

Speaking on the appointment, Mr. Samit Guha, Managing Director & CEO, MMTC‑PAMP, said,

Prior to joining MMTC‑PAMP, Abhishek was associated with Kohler Co., the American luxury bath and kitchen solutions brand, where he served as Director – Sales for the South Asia region. Over the course of his career, he has also held leadership roles with Pantaloon Retail and Home Solutions Retail India, among others, gaining deep expertise across retail, distribution, and large‑format consumer businesses.

Abhishek holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing and Operations from FORE School of Management, New Delhi, and a Bachelor’s degree in Science (Physics) from TM University.
