New Delhi, India, July 30: Anant Raj Limited (ARL), a leading Indian real estate and infrastructure developer, has announced a landmark composite corporate restructuring involving the merger of Anant Raj Cloud Private Limited (ARCPL) into ARL, followed by the demerger of its data centre and cloud business to Ashok Cloud Private Limited (ACPL) and the proposed listing of ACPL as a dedicated digital infrastructure platform.
Saraf and Partners acted as the legal counsel to Anant Raj Limited.
The transaction team was led by Vaibhav Kakkar (Senior Partner) and Debarpan Ghosh (Partner), with Anuj Garg (Senior Associate), Ishaan Gupta (Associate) and Nikhil Surana (Associate).
The competition team led by Akshayy S Nanda (Partner), with Rohan Malhotra (Associate) and Rahul Dhingra (Associate), also advised on certain aspects of the transaction.
Mr. Nitin Savara (Kornerstone Advisors) led the restructuring as lead transaction advisor across workstreams. Additionally, EY acted as tax structuring advisor, and Mr. Atul V. Sood, Advocate shall be acting as lead counsel before the NCLT.
